I’ve been struggling with images lately, and have convinced Brayton to upgrade me to the latest version of Wordpress in hopes of fixing the problem. Figured it was time for a post to test the fix. For that purpose it’s necessary to have a picture to post, and in this case I’ve chosen to post a picture of Gunnar riding his bike without training wheels. This is pretty big news around here. Gunnar is pretty sure it means that he can now go anywhere. The feeling of independence is a little bit misleading because I’m still running after him - a step behind - to ensure that he doesn’t ride into oncoming traffic. He’s also still working on unassisted mounts and dismounts.

Cool! Go, Gunnar! I need to know what kind of bike that is. Looks like the right size for Alec (which makes sense) and I need one, or…he does. He’s been on a kinderbike for two years and desperately wants pedals.

It’s a huffy - nothing glamorous! I’m not sure where we got it. It’s been awaiting his arrival as a big-boy-biker for some time now…

Very impressive, Gunnar / (ok, Gunner …) — and many more horizons ahead. Don’t look back…
