Chris (pictured here at Callaghan Lake, up the valley from the new Olympic Venue, on a snow scouting trip, about five minutes before we put a hole in the oil pan of the van) has agreed to come on-board as a retail manager, Canadian market analyst, and translator. He’s uniquely qualified. He’s Canadian, and he’s fluent in English.

Chris is one of the athletes at the Callaghan Valley Training Center - the new NADC program that Amy (my wife) was hired to coach. He’s well connected here in BC - seems to know just about everybody, and has convinced me that he’s well liked. What do I know?

Largely because of Chris’s willingness to take on this position, we’ll be exploring limited high-end retail for this season. Chris and I will keep you posted on what’s happening on the retail scene.
