I’ve got the keys to a shop space, and have started building and installing benches. The big bits of equipment are moved, and if necessary I could be grinding skis tomorrow evening. As it stands I’m going to spend a bit more time getting things well set-up so I’m not dealing with inconvenient work-around solutions. But it’s all starting to happen now. I’ll post some pictures soon.
Anybody know anything useful about Canadian taxes? Looks like I may have to charge something like 13% tax on grinding services (6% GST and 7% provincial sales tax if it turns out that what I do is “equipment repair”). That could hurt. I really hate paperwork.
